Abstract:
This research examines archived historical websites of plantation tourism sites to measure the change in the representation of slavery at these museums over time. Taking a sample of plantation tourism museums the researcher conducted a content analysis of common webpages found in most tourism plantation sites. The analysis shows a change in narrative pattern over a decade with shifting emphasis on the places of the enslaved within the site.
