Abstract:
This presentation explores the opportunities for future research on what eco-tourism has to offer. I will be using a case Study Israel for where my research will take place.  The presentation goes through a formatted literature review and ways of methodology put together during graduate work.  It will be exploring which type of ecotourism is most beneficial to the environment and of protecting prized sites. The sustainability and future opportunities will be looked at in determining which type whether rural, desert, or kibbutz tourism is most beneficial to Israel. In addition, I will look into the basic history of ecotourism as a concept and Israeli tourism to allow for a base for the research being done.
